It is fun to learn a new language and at the same time difficult. Due to the fact Yoruba Language is one of the most spoken languages in Nigeria, children living in the western part of Nigeria should be able to speak the language. This article is expected to offer first term to third-term Yoruba Language Scheme of Work for Primary 4 children.

In this term, pupils will learn the concepts of counting in Yoruba, taboo, history, and stories of renowned Nigerians such as Obafemi Awolowo, Ransome Kuti, Moshood Abiola, Akoni Moremi, and Efunroye Tinubu. Further, animal names and the history of different towns and cities in Nigeria will be introduced.
