Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH) was established in 1981 with the aim of providing quality education and promoting technology in the region.
In 2021 The university name was changed from Federal University Technology Yola to Modibbo Adama University of Technology in honour of the founder of the Adamawa Emirate.
Since the university was founded, the university has grown and developed from few faculties and departments to a well expanded academic programs and infrastructure.
As at the time of publishing this article Modibbo Adama University of Technology runs undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Management Sciences, and Health Sciences.
The university is well known for standard academic and quality education with experienced and dedicated faculty members who are committed to providing students with a well academic activities that prepares them for the challenges of the modern education.
Modibbo Adama University of Technology is also involved in community development, works closely with the local community to address social issues and promote sustainable development in the region.
