If you’re about to register for UTME or Direct Entry in Bayelsa, you need the real list of JAMB CBT centres approved for registration in Bayelsa State. Not the outdated one going around on WhatsApp. Not the rumour you heard from a friend. The actual centres that JAMB has signed off on, this year.

I put this together because I remember how disorienting the whole process can feel. Someone tells you one thing, the internet says another, and you just want a clear answer without all the noise.

The approved centres are in a few key places. Yenagoa, mostly. Then Amassoma, Ogbia, Sagbama, Kaiama, and Otuoke. All of them are supposed to be fully equipped for registration, biometrics, and the exam itself. And yes, JAMB checks these things.

They have standards for the computers, the network, the power backup. If a centre isn’t on their list, don’t use it. Simple.

But here’s the part nobody says loud enough. Just because a centre is approved now doesn’t mean it’s definitely still approved when you show up. JAMB updates the list.

They drop centres. They add new ones. So before you travel, before you pay any money, check that your chosen centre is still on the official JAMB portal. I cannot stress that enough.

Take your documents. All of them. And your passport photograph, even if you think it’s on the system already. Get there early. The calm early morning hours are better than the chaos at noon.
