The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) was established in 2011 by the then federal government of Nigeria. The university is located in Oye-ekiti, Ekiti State in Southeastern region of Nigeria
Although the university was established in 2011 but the academic activities started in 2012, since then, the institution has grown by establishing new faculties, departments, and Programmes.
Since the institution was established, FUOYE has contributed to the growth of education sector in Nigeria by producing qualified graduates and good research activities.
Apart from the academic activities mentioned above the university has established partnership with other institutions and organizations in Nigeria and beyond with the aim of enhancing the institution academic and research capabilities, provide opportunities for its students and faculty to engage in global learning and exchange programs.
