The second term of the Scheme of Learning incorporates what a child will learn about Jesus Christ who is the way to the Father and the Good Shepherd. It explains the features of light and salt, which means the Christian people are the light of the world” and “the salt of the world. The pupil is also taught about “the passion of Jesus Christ,” His crucifixion, and His resurrection the promise of the comforter.

The third term of the Scheme of Work focuses on the second coming of Jesus Christ and the need for pupils to live a good life for the return of Christ. They will be taught about Christ’s ascension, the promise of His second coming, and the need to prepare for His second coming will be covered. The third gift of the Holy Spirit and why He is coming again

Conclusion

The Christian Religious Studies Scheme of Work for Primary Three is focused on enlightening pupils on the Christian faith and the teachings of the Christian faith. This scheme of work encompasses the deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt, the Passover, Moses and the Bronze Serpent in the Wilderness, Jesus is the way to my Father, Christians are the salt of the heart, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the promise of the Comforter, and the coming of Jesus Christ.

The scheme covers all the areas that are important as far as the Christian faith is concerned. By the time the scheme comes to an end, the pupils should have familiarized themselves with the Christian faith and be able to integrate it into their life
