Week 1: Jesus Power to Forgive Sins

2. Performance Objectives: Pupils should be able to define forgiveness and narrate one example.

3. Learning Activities:

ii. Learning Activities: The learners retell stories, the learners discuss personal forgiveness.

4. Teaching and Learning Resources: Bible, story illustrations, discussion prompts.

Week 2: Conditions for Forgiveness

1. Content: Needs for forgiveness.

2. Performance Objectives: Pupils should be able to list conditions like repentance.

3. Learning Activities:

i. Teacher Activities: The teacher discusses conditions with examples.

Week 3: Jesus Prayed to the Father

Week 6: Jesus Encourages his Disciples to Pray in Faith and Importance of Prayer

2. Performance Objectives: Pupils should be able to explain faith in prayer and state importance.

Week 7: Mid-Term Break

Week 11: Revision

Revision week consolidates all second term learning about forgiveness, prayer, and Jesus’ sacrifice. Teachers use various review methods including group discussions, question and answer sessions, and practice exercises. Pupils prepare thoroughly for the final examination.

Week 12: Examination

The second term examination tests pupils’ knowledge of all topics covered. Teachers ensure a fair assessment environment where pupils can demonstrate their understanding. The exam includes questions on forgiveness, prayer, and the crucifixion story.

Week 13: Examination, Marking & Vacation

Teachers complete marking and provide detailed feedback on pupils’ performance. Results are recorded and shared with pupils before vacation begins. This feedback helps pupils understand their strengths and areas needing improvement in the next term.
